I'm not over melancholic or anything related to that, but around christmas time I really have to listen to music that makes me think in a calm and quiet way. Maybe now, that I'm in India, I miss the "tristesse" of snow, which always made me feel kind of sad in a very positive way. The grey, the cold, the death of green and the tickling of the sun on naked skin. I would consider those things as being the reason, why winter is and always will be related to sad, cozy music....or the face mashing hyper christmas music. This year I'll stick to Benjamin,'cause even Frank Sinatra and my old christmas buddy Louis Armstrong just doesn't want to fit in this country. Sorry guys, hear you next year!
